     About one month ago and in response to an ad, I signed up with SCANA as our natural gas supplier at a rate of $0.369 per therm for 18 months. Today I received a "Welcome to SCANA Energy" letter that stated the rate is $0.5690 per therm. I neglected to read on and thus missed the Application discount of $0.200 per therm. Instead I called SCANA and, unfortunately I was rather rude to the representative that took my call. I therefore wish to apologize to the poor woman who had the unfortunate task of taking my call on or around 3:40 PM on November 26. 
    SCANA Energy responds December 3rd, 2018:
    John - Thank you for taking the time to write us a response. We recently changed the way we displayed the discounts and you aren't the only customer who had the same experience and reacted the same way. Needless to say, we have changed it to display as before and we do thank you for choosing SCANA Energy as your provider!

    Poor Comunications / Customer Care

     On June 13, 2024 I switched to Constellation via telephone conversation with Constellation sales person. At that time, the person reviewed my credit after I unfroze it for a day. He stated my credit was excellant (827). He said paerwork would be in the mail to me to complete and sign. The paperwork never arrived afte 11 days from call. Today, 6/24/24, I received a letter from Constellation stating my enrollment has been canceled!!! This letter was dated June 14, 2024 and was mailed June 18th!!!! They stated the reason was that they could not access my credit score (AES) from Equifax. In my opinion, this nothing but BS (why no call to me to straighten out problem? My credit score is excellant and Constellation sales repr confirmed that with me over the phone on June 13th. Their letter was signed "Constellation Customer Care" - I don't believe I received any "Cusotmer care" in thier letter.
    Fortunitely, I found a more reliable gas provider. In the meantime, Constellation has lost a customer for life!!! due to this lack of care for a potential new customer.

     I tried to submit Scana as my new gas provider. I have not received anything accept your service will start Sep 1st. I have not talked to anyone nor received anything in the mail on billing or service. I am confused on to whom my service is with Stream or Scana.

    Mary-Your account with SCANA Energy became effective on 9/1/2019. Several emails have been sent, as well as written confirmation on 8/16/2019 that included the Terms and Conditions of Service. If you'd like to review your account info to make sure we have everything correct, please call us at 1-877-467-2262. Representatives are available Monday - Friday 7am - 8pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.
