“ I have used Gas South for a long time. While there is nothing particularly bad about them, they could use some better customer service. I have called a few times and received the run around with no specific answer ever given. After a while I just give up and move on. Service itself is adequate though. ”

Georgia Natural Gas ® accepts NO accountability for their mistakes or actions

“ I was a customer of GNG for over a decade - always renewing my therm contract the month before expiration - the rate was alwqays .49 - .55 per therm range.
I called last fall and renewed as I always have - then noticed several months later that I was billed at $1.89 to $1.99 per therm.
When I called and (finally) got someone to taslk about it, they stated thet THEIR records didn't reflect my call or renewal, even though I have all the notes of the call.
GNG did not accept any accountability for their rep's mistake in not registering / binding my renewal.
Now they've billed me over $700 for 2 months of gas service at almost $2.00 per therm.
I suggest you go to Constellation or one of the other providers. GNG has apparently accepts nor requires accountability for their personnel. The onus is on YOU the customer to monitor and provide proof of what their people do.
BTW - I asked to speak to a Supervisor- held for over 20 minutes only to be told the same thing - no record of your call so nothing I can do for you. ”

“ Rates dropped just days after I locked in a rate with GNG. I called and asked if my rate could be adjusted and was told it could. However, when I received my bill, the adjustment was significantly less than I was told it would be. If they had said they could not make an adjustment, or had been clear about the actual amount of the adjustment, I would have accepted it without question and chalked it up to my error for not waiting a few more days to lock in a rate. However, since they said it could be adjusted to the lower rate but it actually wasn't, I feel I was misled. While everyone I spoke with was polite, I am very disappointed in GNG and don't want to work with a company that isn't completely honest, so I will be changing natural gas providers as soon as I can. ”

Bad gas company

“ The charge you to pay your bill online. Sometimes the double dip and your payment comes out twice. Sometimes they don't take it out when you set it up. "It's not our fault we use a third party to pay online" I would use anyone but these guys. I didn't choose them, they bought who I had. There web site is ridiculously slow ”

Worst Gas Co Ever!!!

“ I signed up for 3yrs at .56 in 2021. After one year the started raising rates all the way to 1.69. Customer service said too bad. There billing kept sending late notice even though we we Auto Pay. Took 3 mos to correct it. This company is inadequate at best. Make sure you get your plan in writing and signed.
I would suggest you use them as a last resort. GNG gave me 2yrs at .85 while xoom was charging 1.69.

I enrolled but they never bothered to tell me that AGL didn't switch me

“ I signed up for constellation on January 10 and received confirmation. Atlanta Gas Light did not switch me to Constellation because I was entered as a new user. Constellation did not bother to notify me of this and I did not find out until I received a $300 bill from Georgia Natural Gas ®. Constellation tried to tell me that they emailed and called me but there was nothing from Constellation in my inbox or spam folder. They did not even offer any kind of assistance with the GNG bill ”
